The father and daughter team of Matt and Rudi Lyles teamed up to take this mature Indiana gobbler during the 2016 youth season. The bird had and 11" beard, 1-1/4" spurs. It was the the first turkey hunt for both father and daughter. Matt used a purpleheart over cedar short box to coax in the bird.

My 2015 Michigan longbeard that was harvested on May 15th at 11:45 AM. This bird had 1.5" spurs. The Halloran call and diaphram were the only calls that were spared from an earlier downpour.
This Michigan longbeard fell to my Father's 20 gauge 870 and a load of Federal Heavyweight 7's. This guy had a 1 3/8" spur on one side and a broken 1" on the other. Great finish to the 2014 season.

My 2013 late season Michigan bird that fell for a curly maple scratch box with a padauk striker. This fine gobbler finished off my three state hunt with gobblers harvested in Kansas, Missouri and Michigan. With another safe and successful season behind me, the long 11 month wait begins.
My 2013 Missouri Eastern. I started this long beard with the walnut and maple short box and finished him with an XTKEE diaphram from XT Calls. I shot him at 12 paces directly behind my tree after a long 25 gobble stand off.
